Executive Council Job Descriptions

 

President

  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA or greater
  • Attend the scholarship luncheon and compose a thank you note to scholarship donors
  • Attend WSU Salutes during Homecoming Week
  • Attend Clubs & Orgs Liaison meetings
  • Complete all other duties as assigned
  • Oversee all SAA VP's and Committees

Traditions VP

  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA or greater
  • Attend the scholarship luncheon and compose a thank you note to scholarship donors
  • Attend WSU Salutes during Homecoming Week
  • Attend Homecoming Committee/Collaboration meetings
  • Plan and prepare five events throughout the year
  • Oversee Traditions Committee
  • Work in conjunction with the Athletic Department’s Marketing team to promote any activities associated with sports at WSU
  • Complete all other duties as assigned (ie. Split the Pot ticket sales, etc.)

  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA or greater
  • Attend the scholarship luncheon and compose a thank you note to scholarship donors
  • Attend WSU Salutes during Homecoming Week
  • Plan and prepare five events throughout the school year
  • Work in conjunction with the Athletic Department’s Marketing team to promote any activities associated with sports at WSU
  • Complete all other duties as assigned (ie. Split the Pot ticket sales, etc.)

Philanthropy VP

  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA or greater
  • Attend the scholarship luncheon and compose a thank you note to scholarship donors
  • Attend WSU Salutes during Homecoming Week
  • Oversee Philanthropy Committee
  • Organize and plan for pledge drive at summer orientations
  • Organize and plan for Tuition Runs Out activities
  • Find community partners who will offer benefits for SAA members
  • Complete all other duties as assigned 

Philanthropy Committee Member

  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA or greater
  • Attend the scholarship luncheon and compose a thank you note to scholarship donors
  • Attend WSU Salutes during Homecoming Week
  • General promotion of SAA events and activities
  • Plan two service projects per semester—utilize the Community Involvement Center and collaborate with other campus groups to carry out these projects.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned
